The Christmas Story

Christmas was on a Tuesday this year and I was pretty proud of myself for having all of our shopping done a week ahead of time. On Saturday the 22nd I took a little snooze on the couch while Rob was resting on the bed upstairs. Rob was woken from his nap by Joslyn asking him to open her watch for her. He opened his eyes as he realized that was a Christmas present and saw her wearing new Christmas jammies. That's right! Keyton had figured out how to unlock the guest bedroom door where all of the presents were hiding and they had a fine time playing with new toys while we slept. Keyton also tried on his new jammies and opened a few of his already wrapped presents. We decided that since they saw everything already we didn't need to wrap anything so everything was spread around under the tree when they came downstairs. Keyton looked a little confused and asked what Santa had brought. We told him Santa brought the bikes and he said, "What else?" He knew everything else was here before last night. They really do love their bikes, even if their first reaction didn't show it.
