Friday morning I was awaken by the phone at 6:22am. My pregnant sister in law, Jessica, needed a ride to the hospital due to contractions. I figured this would be one of those false labor things where we spend two or three hours in triage and then go home. At 2:30 the next morning little Jameson made an early appearance. 5 weeks early.
He's so cute and small! He's doing great for a preemie. We ran into Nicole at the hospital while Jessica was getting checked in. She's a NICU nurse at that hospital and was just coming off a night shift. I took the kids home to change out of their pajamas and find a sitter. So we're in the car and Keyton says, "Why was Shea's mommy wearing that costume?" I told him she works there and she's a nurse. He said, "I didn't know mommies could work!"

Oh my gosh, tell Jason congratulations for me! I didn't even know they were expecting. But geez that is so wonderful he's a daddy, he'll be so sweet in that role.
